A standard 55-gallon drum can be filled in well in under two minutes, which adds up quickly across a full shift of cleanup or transfer work. The absence of motors means fewer components to service and a longer working life. And because there’s no electrical involvement, these systems fit safely into environments where liquid and electricity don’t mix.

Choosing the Right Configuration

High lift drum vacuums come in several configurations to suit different needs. Basic setups cover the essentials (pump, hose and wand) for straightforward liquid transfer. Deluxe packages add spill recovery accessories and extension tools. Premium systems include the drum itself along with mobility features for a fully self-contained solution. The right choice depends on how the system will be used day to day, although for facilities dealing with frequent spills across large areas, a more complete package tends to justify itself quickly.

Adding Filtration to the Mix

In many industrial settings, collected fluids carry solid debris, with metal chips being a common example.
